Their rules are weird
I sent some money to a friend in Houston. He moved to the US not long ago and after more than a month the money has not reached my friend or was reimbursed. I keep contacting them on the phone and by email but they always find an excuse to not return the money. I am running out of patience. They abuse the customers and think that because they are a big company they can do whatever they want using the American law in the most preposterous way! I wouldn't advise anyone to use this horrendous company. I wouldn't use them again.
Really? Security Reasons
They closed the account after 5 years and require me to go to the money center in Walmart now. Same person, same amount, every two weeks for the last 6 years. Customer service is worthless, will not elevate it to a higher level to get it worked out. They'll continue to take my money but just make it more inconvenient for an older gentleman with bad knees. Thanks for nothing.

Scam company
I just opened my account and received a message: "after a careful review, your profile is closed, and the transaction is declined" I have not entered the full info. So I decided to chat with support, and they started asking for a lot of documents and other info to upload, I figured out this was a scam and decided to close the account, so they refused to do it.

STAY AWAY FROM SCAM
Please stay away from this site, they are full of scammers with deceit, if care is not taken, you will lose fortunes to them and they will block you afterwards. I lost so much to these scammers and they thought they could get away with my funds but i took actions on them after i reported my issues, i was able to get back my funds back and brought them to justice.
Non-responsive website
Tried to check the status of a money order, entered in the amount and the money order number and no response. Nothing happened. The page just didn't do anything. When you clicked on they help link, there was an error message saying it was an invalid site, it would be great if someone tested out there site and the links established to ensure that the MoneyGram pages were working correctly. Honestly, will go elsewhere for money orders or money transfers.

Terrible service!
Poor service, system always broke down or out of money, agent is not friendly or even able to advise the remaining passengers of same.

Moneygram do not give a full refund.
I just called moneygram to get my full refund and I spoke with customer service name Edward for a total of 207.99 as all our communications is recorded. He told me that, I will only get 200 dollars and not the full amount. And I asked him why?. But no clear answer from Edward and then, he mentioned about the law in the system for moneygram to take $7.99 from a customer like me and I don't know what kind of a law in moneygram system?. Because Edward did not told me those laws that take money from a customer. So I will be considered for a filling a complaint with a consumer agency. Because it's a scam from moneygram to make money on the customers.

Stealing your $, holding ransom
These thieves take your $ for an instant transfer then hold it and say it will take 3-10 days. You only have 30 minutes to cancel but there is no cancel option online so you're forced to call their monkeys in butholestan to read a script and keep your $ to earn interest. Thieves should be hung or incarcerated!
Scam! Terrible service
Scam! This is the first time I have encountered this, I have always used ria translations and will continue to do so. I sent the transfer on July 26,5 days have passed and it is still impossible to receive it. I tried to return it through the office, but the MoneyGram company is blocking the return of the transfer, I called by phone there, too, they doesn't do anything. And today they also announced that I have to wait 90 days. Is that what you call good service and quick transfers? If you don't believe me, you can check it yourself by case number *******

WORST COSTUMER SERVICE EVER
I never had such a bad costumer service in my life. I tried to call them to cancel a transaction that was made on March 5th, I was not the sender but the sender didn't speak any English, they wanted us to call for an interpreter after 2 hours which we did but twice they hung up on us…. Terrible service

Moneygram has no good customer care
They suspended my online account because of "security" reasons even I provided them with all the information they asked for. I have that account since years and it worked well. They want me to go every time in a store to send money. They are not helpful at all! Their security policy is crap!
STAY FROM THEM UNPROFESSIONAL!
I have been using their services more than 8 years now and for some some reasons I sent money to a person, not even a colossal amount, $95. Then the person could not cash in and was presented with error code at the bank. I did not think it was a big deal. On the 6th of April, I tried to log into my account and my password wasn't accepted. I contacted them through chat and all they told me was that " Our system noticed your activities and did not like it" Then I asked what kind of activities? " it is a security concern and I cannot not tell you more" For a company that makes fortune from people sending money to other people, I believe this is outrageous and disrespectful. They owe people explanation, this is arbitrary and should not be tolerated. If they are accusing people of whatever they believe in, why not involve Law enforcement? That way the person accused will have a chance to face the lies of the truth. No they leave you in the dark. STAY AWAY FROM THEIR SERVICES!
Things have changed
I'm surprised to see that the platform is still running even after several negative reviews have been posted against them. I used the platform some years ago and it wasnt an experience I like to remember. Basically they tried to hoodwink me out of my money, frankly they did but i recovered most of it from Finetouch Tech. Anybody with viable evidence can apply for restitution.
